instant classic

翻譯研究：

譯一篇文章，遇到instant classic一詞，用Google去搜尋，看怎麼譯比較好。發現有人譯成「及時經典」、「立即的經典」、「速成的經典」。我決定暫時把它譯成「風靡一時或一炮而紅的經典之作」。「風靡一時」的意思應該很接近。教育部國語辭典這麼解釋「風靡一時」：

形容某種事物於一時之間極為流行，就像草木順風而倒的樣子。如：「十幾年前，黃梅調曾經風靡一時，大街小巷無人不唱。」

從Whiteboard infinity這段部落格文章，有助於明白它的意思：

WANG Wei (701~761) is one of my favorite poets. On this 9th day of the 9th lunar month, long, long time ago, he wrote this famous poem. It became an instant classic and spread all over China.
